About Natural Sleep Herbs

We bridge ancient herbal wisdom and modern sleep science — so you can sleep better, naturally.

🌿 EST. 2025  ·  SLEEP NATURALLY

Natural Sleep Herbs started from a simple frustration: the internet is full of sleep advice, but most of it is either vague wellness content or sales copy for supplements. Very little of it sits in the middle — honest, research-grounded, and written by people who have actually struggled with sleep.

This site exists to fill that gap. We cover herbal sleep remedies, sleep science, and practical strategies drawn from both traditional medicine and peer-reviewed research. Our focus is on herbs like kava, valerian, passion flower, and chamomile — plants that have been used for centuries and are now being validated by modern neuroscience.

We are based in Port Vila, Vanuatu, which gives us a Pacific-first perspective on herbs and wellness that most English-language sleep sites completely ignore.

What we cover

Our content falls into four main areas:

  • Herbal sleep aids — deep dives on individual herbs: mechanisms, dosing, safety profiles, and who they work best for
  • Sleep science — how sleep works, what disrupts it, and what the research actually says about common advice
  • Comparisons and guides — head-to-head comparisons of supplements, practical routines, and buying guides
  • Tools — free resources like our Sleep Web App and downloadable sleep trackers

Our editorial approach

We are a content site, not a supplement store. We do not manufacture or sell any products. Some articles contain affiliate links to third-party products — if you buy through those links, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This never influences what we recommend or how we review products.

When research on a topic is mixed or weak, we say so. When an herb has safety concerns, we include them clearly. We would rather lose a reader than mislead one.

Articles are developed with the assistance of AI tools and reviewed for accuracy before publication. We update content when new research emerges.

A note on medical advice

Nothing on this site is medical advice. Herbal supplements can interact with medications and are not appropriate for everyone. If you have a chronic sleep disorder, persistent insomnia, or are taking prescription medications, please consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting any supplement. We are researchers and writers — not doctors.
